I read photography blogs. A lot of them. Probably too many if that’s possible but I just love reading about other photographers. I enjoy looking at their work, seeing the different talent and perspective that is out there. It’s uplifting and discouraging all at the same time. I’m learning to not to compare myself to photographers that I look up and just enjoy their work for what it is-amazing talent. Last week a baby and child photographer’s blog that I have been stalking for awhile now has decided to join forces with another photographer friend of hers to make themselves available to other photographers. They are extremely talented, quite opposite of each other but have a common goal. To help and inspire others. Their website couldn’t have come at a better time for me. Check out Two Photogs here. So yup, I’ve added yet another great photography blog to my blog feeder. Lately, I’ve been feeling very dry creatively so when they offered a color challenge I jumped on the bandwagon. The purpose is to pick a color and then go out and find it and shoot it and be as creative as you can be in your findings and shooting. I choose the color green because it’s my favorite color. As you’ll see in the collage below I have incorporate some of my personal belongings. I didn’t know how much I really liked green until I pulled out my umbrella, shoes and a bunch of other items I own but didn’t end up photographing. I had fun doing this challenge. I was up late putting the collage together and I slightly felt like I was back in school pulling an all-nighter so I can hand my paper in on time. Yeah, that’s how I spent many a nights in college that’s why it was all too familiar.
Anyway, check out my collage below and let me know what you think!
Enjoy!
