She wants proof

Tonight right before dinner Journee lost a tooth. She was so excited because as soon as Carson pulled that tooth out  I know she heard “ka-ching ka-ching” (that the sound of money, in case you didn’t know). So it was no surprise that right before bed she proceeded to write a letter to the tooth fairy. I didn’t think anything of it. Usually her letters consist of a “Dear Tooth Fairy, here’s my tooth, thank you for the money, yada yada yada. But tonight was different. I went into her room and found this letter on her night table .

She left a cup of water (to be filled with “tooth fairy color” )beside the table and a pencil for the Tooth Fairy to sign her note. I have a sneaking suspicion that she’s going to make a very good detective in the future. I wouldn’t be surprised if she sets up a nanny-cam on Christmas Eve night.
