Stage Right’s Shabby Chic Barn Wedding-Mockup

Last Friday I had the opportunity to collaborate with Danielle and Ria Hayden of Stage Right etc. and fellow friend and photographer Jessica Zais. Be sure to check out Jessica’s pics on her blog. Stage Right etc. is a wedding planning and decor team that are super talented and creative and always willing to go above and beyond when it comes to creating the most beautiful and stylized wedding. For this collaboration they wanted to try out a Shabby Chic wedding and I have to say they truly outdid themselves. The idea was put into motion, the gorgeous vintage dress was bought (and fit Kristen like a glove), the location was found and Jessica and myself were in our glory being left to photograph the beautiful decor and real-life couple Kristen and Anthony as our models. Brides, if you are looking for a wedding planning team you MUST contact Stage Right etc. They book up fast because, they’re a pretty big deal around these parts! ;)

Kristen and Anthony are getting married in a few weeks so I’m sure they appreciated the practice run for their real day. I have to say, they have one lucky photographer because they were such a pleasure to photograph. They were totally comfortable in front of the camera and were able just be themselves. I’m sure Jessica would agree when I say they made our jobs easy that day! ;) I have to give props to Anthony because he shaved his moustache that he had been growing for a few months for his bachelor party. Let’s just say there are going to be some serious consequences from his boys that night when he shows up with just stubble. I appreciate that he was willing to get clean shaven for two photographers he’d never met. Thanks Anthony! I hope you make it out in one piece. ;)

A big thank you to Melissa Craven for doing Kristen’s make-up. Melissa did my make-up for a past shoot and I have to say she’s the best!
